On december 16th we've recorded a new song at the SAE Institute in Amsterdam. It is a song which is not on the album "In the middle of somewhere". More news about this song will follow later. Below are some photos shot during the recording session (photos: Jasper).

There's a review of the Bibelot festival on december 8th on the 3voor12 website (Dutch). We've translated the part about LorentZ to English: "[...] The indie band LorentZ - founded in 1999 - gets to play next. A good set is what follows. This band from Dordrecht consists of two guitarists, a drummer, a bass player and a leadsinger. Their CD "In the middle of somewhere" was released today, so they play a lot of new material. Throughout the performance you can hear how experienced these musicians are, showed mostly by the great guitar solos. Bibelot in Dordrecht celebrates its birthday today! This beautiful concert hall turns 40 years old. That's why there is a party tomorrow (Saturday December 8th) with 40 artists performing, including us. LorentZ is scheduled from 23.00 - 23.20 hours. See for more info the website of Bibelot. On december 8th 2007 there will be a party at Bibelot in Dordrecht because of the 40th anniversary of this beautiful venue. During the day, a total of 40 bands will perform, and LorentZ is one of them! We will probably be scheduled around 23:00. You can find more info on the Bibelot website (Dutch).

| 04-11-2007 | LorentZ will record new song

In december 2007 we will record a song at the SAE Institute in Amsterdam. This recording session will be in the scope of the final project of one of the students at this institute. We've chosen to record a completely new song, which is not featured on the album In the Middle of Somewhere.

Finally! After years of recording, mixing, mastering and some occasional beers, our first full-length album is finished! It is called In the Middle of Somewhere and we are very proud with the result. You can listen to the entire album at the music page. We've also made some mp3's available for you to download! We hope to be able to provide you with information on how to order the CD as soon as possible!
